Chapter 62-Frantzces of Defying Resistance and Chronicles Abroad

Truly hope you enjoy and are inspired by this week’s episode with Frantzces.

In this chapter, Frantzces talks about coming to America at a young age, growing up in the Boston area, and how she was impacted as an immigrant, and later a Black woman. She shares a bit about her family and how she was inspired to study psychology. Frantzces has a whole, very adult son, and gives him a special message on the show, as well as some general advice for families. She discusses how she feels like she’s just getting started in her work and making the impact she wants to make. Frantzces defines what Defying Resistance means to her, and what inspired her to create her therapy and coaching practice. She also gets into why we continue to experience some lessons, and how to do a self-inventory to stop the cycle. Frantzces recalls the events of 2013, and why she calls it her year of spiritual awakening. Part of that awakening was her taking a sabbatical before they were cool, and living abroad for three years. Frantzces details for us what has helped her to overcome the challenges she’s faced in her life. She also relates her thoughts about talk therapy and alternative healing, and describes her spiritual healing journey of working with shamans in Indonesia and Thailand. She gives us some resources, and her advice on finding healers wherever you are.

You can connect with Frantzces on Instagram, and she writes on her website where you can also sign up for her newsletter.
