Chapter 61-Victoria M. Walker of The Points Guy

Truly hope you enjoy and are inspired by this week’s episode with Vikkie.

In this chapter, Vikkie talks about taking cross-country road trips with her family, and a volunteer opportunity through Howard University that incited her application for a passport, and further international travels. She shares how after graduating from Howard and working in journalism, she started to feel like she didn’t have a place in the industry, and wasn’t making the impact she wanted to make. Vikkie had stayed close to her Howard community and she found rejuvenation in her career through a teaching opportunity there. She talks about being a first generation flier, and how she was able to take her next step in her career through marrying her wanderlust and journalism as a Points, Miles, and Deals Reporter for The Points Guy.
