Truly hope you enjoy and are inspired by this week’s episode with Fayida.
In this chapter, Fayida talks about her path of exploring her interests, to her showing up for the work she’s doing now spotlighting Black/African descendants around the world, country by country. She’s open about how her work has called forth the trolls, and how she’s still been able to remain consistent. Fayida shares with us some of her challenges through the years, including a relationship she entered while traveling, and the inspiration that’s helped her to get through uncertainty. She bubbles about her love for, and some of her experiences adventuring through Latin America, and shares a message for those feeling lost and not sure which direction to take in their life.
You can catch up with Fayida on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, or her website where you can also purchase merch from her shop. If you haven’t seen a country mentioned, Fayida is open to suggestions, so get in touch!
Fayida named her brand after a song that Nina Simone popularized. You can find it on the Guest Favorites from the Black Women Travel Podcast playlist on Spotify
