Chapter 44-Devin of ReadySetFro

Truly hope you enjoy and are inspired by this week’s episode with Devin.

In this chapter, Devin talks about traveling and working for the last eight years, and meeting her to be husband on her first stop. She talks about the culture in Costa Rica, and how making an effort to communicate in Spanish has helped her to create relationships there. Devin rewinds it all the way back to 2012, and describes the walk home that changed her life. Devin dishes about how she’s been able to be clear with herself to manifest how she wants to live her life as she continues to grow. Devin is passionate about making travel obtainable for everyone and the norm, which she says doesn’t always involve floating breakfasts in Bali, as often pictured in glamour travel feeds. We also talk about growing laterally by connecting with each other, so we can grow vertically as Black women travelers running around the world.

Devin likes the lyrics from this song:

You told us we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal; and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; among these are life, liberty, and theā€”and the pursuit of happiness
