Meet Cassandre Dunbar | International Black Women Travel Jubilee 21

Meet Cassandre Dunbar

Cassandre is a mother to two young boys, medical doctor, wife, educator, and host of Be Well, Sis podcast. She is passionate about the wellness and self-care practices of Black millennial women. Her journey began shortly after graduating medical school when she realized that there was a large gap between what she learned in medical school and what it truly means to be well. Her quest for information revealed the lack of inclusion in the wellness community. Since then, she’s been dedicated to creating and curating well-researched information for those who are often forgotten.

Her session for IBWTJ21:
Recognizing and Overcoming Burnout as an Entrepreneur
Many of us choose to become entrepreneurs as a means of escaping grind culture, exploring our passions, and creating meaningful lives that not only look good on the outside- but feel good on the inside. The initial months (or even years) into our journey might be exactly what we envisioned but, oftentimes, we’re slowly overcome by the same feelings of overwhelm and sadness that initially led us to entrepreneurship. The purpose of this workshop is to define burnout, recognize its progression, provide tools to complete the stress cycle, and identify ways to prevent its reoccurrence.

-How to recognize burnout
-Understanding the cycle of burnout
-How to overcome burnout
-How to prevent relapse

If you’re a Black woman traveler, influencer, content creator, expat, looking to take a sabbatical, digital nomad, or aspiring, this is the premier event made just for you!

Join us for workshops where you get to pinpoint what’s holding you back from reaching your travel, wellness, and online business goals. Our workshops are designed to help you create your way forward with like-minded ladies who will also be getting real and specific about what freedom and self-expression look like. You don’t have to do this alone, or with people who are half invested in your success.

We’d love to provide that space for you to see yourself and give yourself permission to truly go after your travel, wellness, and entrepreneur goals. You’ll get access to the workshops and access to our private community!
