She had such a love for education growing up and got to be involved in several programs that taught her about St. Croix, which still fuels her pride to the point that she finds creative ways to share her culture with others. Anquanette talks about receiving unwanted attention, even from a young age, regarding the curvy shape of her body. And how surprised she was that many connect, not because of travel and food, but because of her natural shape and how she moves in the world. Anquanette shares the numbing experiences of her corporate life in America, and gives advice on finding your own small, but strong circle.
